Michelle is an award-winning event professional with the unique ability to transform spaces into the complete spectrum of high-end events, from a professional corporate gathering to an unforgettable and memorable wedding experience. Growing up in various cities of the Midwest, Michelle comes from a humble background, citing her family’s strong work ethic as an elemental part of her personality. In addition to being an event planner, designer, and producer for multiple firms, Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Management from Chicago’s highly acclaimed Kendall College of Hospitality & Culinary Arts. She spent years working in hotel, restaurant, and catering kitchens, becoming involved in menu design, food & beverage management, high-quality service standards, and the creative art behind it all.
She began a career from her passion projects by founding Events, M.D. in 2008. Since then, Michelle has been sought out to create one-of-a-kind, transformative events that serve as celebrations for some of the most memorable moments of her client's lives. With attention to detail and flair for the unimaginable, Michelle creates events that stimulate the senses and awe guests while creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
With an innate ability to multitask she is able to fine-tune her attention to detail in both a planning and design perspective. In her strategic planning of logistics, she utilizes evolving ideas and inspiring technologies to develop fully immersive experiences through exacting production and execution. As a designer, inspired heavily by color and texture, her creative sense of style has garnered the recognition of nationwide brands, industry leaders, couples, and event hosts across the North American Continent.

Always raising the bar, she’s marveled at by clients and event vendor partners for her imaginative ideas, and incredible work ethic. She mindfully balances a demanding career, maintaining professional and social interaction in the event industry, community volunteer work, while dabbling in her own creative hobbies of interior design and upcycling furniture. Her clients love her welcoming demeanor, humorous approach, and her ability to bring any vision to life.
